Czech it out! The Oklahoma Czech Festival is one of the largest outdoor ethnic festivals that promotes and celebrates Czech heritage. There will be a carnival, parade, craft booths, music, dancing, singing, games, royalty crowning, traditional food, and much more! The parade will begin along Route 66 at 10 a.m. while the carnival will start on Friday evening at 5 p.m. and again on Saturday.
Get your dancing shoes ready because there will be dancing all day long at the Czech Building, full of bright colored Czech costumes twirling to the sounds of authentic Czech music. Kolache, a traditional Czech food, will be available. The customs seen throughout the festival have been handed down from generation to generation. Experience a different culture through food, music and art.
