Haunt the River, Youth Regatta at Adventure Saturday, October 27

Haunt the River will provide a day of adventure, treats and family fun on Saturday, Oct. 27, in the Boathouse District downtown and at the Route 66 Boathouse on the canal at Lake Overholser. The event will feature Adventure Saturday passes for sale, plus free s’mores and trick-or-treating for kids 12 and under, and a chance to watch youth rowing and kayak racing on the Oklahoma River. Admission and parking are free.

RIVERSPORT Adventure Saturdays provide a new way to experience more than a dozen fun and exciting activities for one price. Activities include rowing and kayaking lessons; Paddle Now kayak, stand up paddle board and dragon boat experiences; the kayak plunge, and more. Adventure Saturday passes are $40 for adults and $20 for youth.

The Boathouse District will also feature several new attractions for kids and adults during Haunt the River. Amenities include a rock wall, as well as inflatable surfing, obstacles courses and slides. These attractions are also available for use during birthday parties and private events.

Oklahoma River Cruises will host 2012 Kid’s Haunt the River Cruises throughout the day. The cruises will include spooky cartoons and treats for kids. For more information and for times, visit okrivercruises.com or call (405) 702-7755.
