The release party for "The Laura Leighe EP" is set for Saturday, Jan. 19 at Kamp's 1310 Lounge, 1310 NW 25th, in Oklahoma City.

Oklahoma City’s genre smashing duo Laura Leighe is ready to release its first album January 19 with a 9 p.m. party at Kamp’s 1310 Lounge.

The release of “The Laura Leighe EP” will be the perfect introduction to this fresh new duo. With keys player Laura Leighe Stockton’s sweet and soulful vocals and drummer Zach Dumbleton’s retro-punk playing style, Laura Leighe ushers in a new wave in pop music and is happy to share it with fellow Oklahomans.

Stockton released her first solo album in 2009, entitled “Unreal” under the name Laura Gossett. This release allowed her to tour the country playing legendary venues such as The Viper Room, The Whiskey a Go-Go and Oklahoma’s Chesapeake Energy Arena. In this, she was honored to share the stage with artists such as Vince Gill, Toby Keith, Ty England, Jars of Clay, Natalie Grant and many more.

Dumbleton has been touring professionally the past decade and most recently with the Oklahoma rock band, Theatre Breaks Loose. On stage his natural style mixed with his raw talent combines to create an unmistakable barrage of powerful rhythms and subtle nuances. Dumbleton’s drumming prowess has brought him to play alongside bands like 3OH!3, Mayday Parade, We The Kings and Eve6 to name a few.

Kamps Lounge is located at 1310 NW 25 in Oklahoma City. The cost of tickets to the band’s release party is $5 to $25.
