The Pathmaker Awards honor individuals who have made significant contributions to their communities in Oklahoma City and County. Since 1990, over 200 individuals or organizations have received the prestigious Pathmaker Award. The Gala will be held at the historic Skirvin Hotel, Friday evening, October 26, 2018, 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Dino Lalli will emcee the event and special guest Lucas Ross will be onsite hosting our guests. A seated dinner, cash bar, silent auction, raffle, and entertainment will be provided throughout the evening.

2017 marked the 40th anniversary of the OKCCHS. We were founded on November 22, 1977 and to date are the oldest historic preservation group in Oklahoma City/County. Over the years, we have amassed a very sizable collection of artifacts of varying description representing the history of our area. It is our goal to actively present these treasures to the public in a number of different forums to help raise the awareness of how historically significant Oklahoma City and County has been to the development of the state. We are currently promoting a campaign fund to establish a permanent display of Oklahoma City’s heritage and history in a city museum located in downtown OKC.

Individual tickets are $100 each or $900 for a dinner table of 10. Deadline for reservations is October 15, 2018. Sponsorship opportunities that include dinner tickets are also available. Click here for tickets!

This is the OKCCHS’s biggest fundraising event of the year. OKCCHS is a 501(c)3 non-profit, all volunteer organization. All proceeds go towards the betterment of the Oklahoma City/County Historical Society and our collections. Our mission is dedicated to collecting, preserving and sharing the diverse historical heritage of Oklahoma City and County. Our goal is to establish an Oklahoma City County Museum. We are immensely grateful to our sponsors who make the evening possible.
