Since 1976, Family Builders has given hope to over 1,000 families a year and helped them heal from the devastating effects of abuse and violence. Through our parenting workshops and domestic violence services, parents learn to nurture and protect their children and rebuild family relationships as well as create new family traditions such as trimming the Christmas tree.

You can help these families by attending our inaugural Christmas Tree Festival Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 5:30 PM – 9 PM. This event is a unique evening of fantastically decorated Christmas trees and other holiday-themed items that will be auctioned off for families to take home and enjoy. The evening will be a whimsical journey of Christmas with a signature cocktail, food, carolers, silent auction, and (of course) extraordinary Christmas Trees. The event will be held at the Civic Center Music Hall located at
201 N Walker Ave.

Traditionally, the trimming of the Christmas Tree is a family event. Some families hold parties, others make it a family only time, creating traditions that last for generations. It is with this special family event in mind that Family Builders has created the Christmas Tree Festival! Local artists, designers, florists, and businesses are invited to donate a decorated Christmas tree or an artistic representation of a Christmas tree. Trees can be any size, up to 8 feet tall and must be artificial. The trees will be auctioned at a gala cocktail party. Winners of the auctioned trees have the option of keeping their tree or donating it to a Family Builders’ family. Tabletop size trees may be included in the silent auction.

The evening will also include a silent auction, signature cocktail, festive entertainment, hors-d’oeuvres, wine, beer, and bubbly. For more information and tickets click HERE
