Our Making Oklahoma City Beautiful “MOB” Young Professionals are hosting a “Fall Harvest Festival” in celebration of OKC Beautiful’s 50th anniversary. Join us as we celebrate the bounty of fall harvest with an afternoon full of your favorite seasonal foods and activities!

We will be hosting a community chili cook-off open to corporate or individual entries! Prizes will be awarded for community first place winner and sponsor judge winner. The Big Friendly Beer Bus will parked on site tapping seasonal beers and ciders from local breweries. A build your own caramel apple bar and pumpkin carving activities will be available. So grab your chili selections, a beer, and caramel apple and find your seat at the pumpkin-carving table!

OKC Harvest student farmers and garden champion teachers will be hosting a farmers market! OKC Harvest is OKC Beautiful’s school and community vegetable garden program serving community programs like the YMCA, NSO, and under-resourced schools in the Oklahoma City and Putnam City public school systems. Come meet the farmers and buy organic school garden veggies like broccoli, cauliflower, squash, kale, carrots, radishes, onions, and garlic. All proceeds from the farmers market will go back into their gardens. Teachers will use this opportunity to motivate the kids and teach them entrepreneurial skills.

This event takes place Sun, October 21, 2018 from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM at Delmar Gardens located at 1225 Southwest 2nd Street in Oklahoma City. Now until September 1 “fall fanatic” tickets are $25 each which includes two beer tickets, chili, and free access to activities like pumpkin carving and caramel apple dipping. After September 1, individual tickets will be $30. Sponsorship opportunities are available.
