Fashion’s premier magazine is all abuzz about Balliets’ new luxury store.

The rave reviews are still pouring in as Balliets was prominently featured in the March 16, 2011 Spring Style Issue of Women’s Wear Daily.  Opening in August, 2010, owners Bob and Dede Benham built the state-of-the-art two story, 17,000 square foot flagship store at Oklahoma City’s dramatic new Classen Curve, designed by Architect Rand Elliott.

We thought it would be fun to poll a few friends over at Balliets on their personal “Rave Reviews” of their fashionable new home.  Everyone interviewed used adjectives such as open, airy, spacious for the women’s luxury store featuring new and top designers in couture, contemporary, accessories and shoes.

Lolly Sweeney, Couture Buyer, said, “There is nothing like it here in town.   Shoppers can see all the lovely clothes so much better in this beautiful atmosphere.”

Eddi Morgan, Accessories Buyer, who travels the globe in search of the best and newest in jewelry, handbags and leather goods, shared, “It is as pretty a store as I have seen anywhere.  We carry a lot of very exclusive lines that can compete with anyone.  Our discerning customers love having more fabulous merchandise and brands from which to choose.”

Shoe Buyer, Betsy King, stated, “Sometimes modern can mean cold but with Balliets it is totally warm, with natural light and tall ceilings.   Shoppers react immediately to the warm feeling of the store.  Plus, our super shoe displays pop even better with all the clean lines.”

Balliets’ Cosmetic Buyer, Joy Robison says, “The terrific thing about our wonderful cosmetics department is the incredible natural lighting from being on the tree-top second floor.  When you come in for a consult or make over, that is so important.”

Everyone agreed that a big new attraction is the fragrance wall studded with beautiful bottles of marvelous scents.

And finally, Charlene Wagner, Special Events Director and Fashion Consultant states, “My favorite thing to show off is our peaceful Spa Room upstairs with inlaid pebble rock floors and walk-in shower.  The beautiful landscaping outdoors and our store full of bright, spring colors make it such a happy place.   I love everything about it!”

Balliets is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.  They are closed Sundays and holidays.
