The Mabee Center is proud to host the 2013 induction concert for the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame. On October 15, 2013, the induction concert will feature the Swon Brothers in a full concert, as well as performances from several Oklahoma musical greats. The Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame will be holding a press conference on Wednesday, September 4th at 2pm in the North Lobby of the Mabee Center to officially announce the 2013 inductees. “We are excited to have the Mabee Center host our next induction show in Tulsa and thrilled to have such a diverse group of inductees,” states Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame Executive Director, Jim Blair.

Getting their start in Muskogee, Oklahoma, the Swon Brothers have been playing to sold-out crowds across the country after making the final three on the hit NBC show, The Voice. The Swon Brothers received the Rising Star award from the OMHOF earlier this year.

In addition to hosting the 2013 induction concert, the Mabee Center is a 2013 inductee into the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame. For over four decades, the Mabee Center has hosted some of the biggest entertainers in the industry, including Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Billy Joel, Frank Sinatra, Neil Diamond, Luciano Pavarotti, The Bee Gees, Garth Brooks, Jay Leno, Reba McEntire, Justin Bieber and many, many others.

In honor of the 40th Anniversary, the Mabee Center recently launched the Mabee Center eMuseum, which showcases the rich history and memories that have been created over the years. “We are delighted to be hosting the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame as they honor the great musical talent we have here in Oklahoma,” says Tony Winters, Mabee Center General Manager. “The celebration of our 40th year anniversary comes to a close at the end of October and I cannot think of a better way to end it than by hosting another Oklahoma treasure and honoring these artists.”

Tickets go On-Sale on September 12th, with a Pre-Sale offering available September 5th. For the Pre-Sale password, please visit the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame Facebook page.
