Eagle-watching adventure awaits you along the shores of Lake Thunderbird in Norman. Meet at the Discovery Cove Nature Center within Lake Thunderbird State Park for an eagle information session at 1pm. Next, a park naturalist will guide you through the park to catch glimpses of magnificent eagles in their winter home from your vehicle. Be sure to bring your binoculars and camera to capture the moment. Dress appropriately for the three or four outdoor stops made to watch for eagles around the lake.
Each eagle watch is limited to 15 vehicles, so reservations are required. Join the watch party at Lake Thunderbird in a hunt for these incidental winter visitors.
